The Club
The aim of the Club is to provide a means for members to make friends and meet other enthusiasts. It welcomes all two stroke supporters and all two stroke machines whether manufactured in Britain or elsewhere. The Club was started in 1929 by the late T G "Tommy" Meeten (a great champion of the two stroke) to prove that two stroke motorcycles were not toys. The Club provides services to members and organises events to encourage everyone to ride with fellow enthusiasts.

The Members
We welcome members from all around the world, united by an enthusiasm for the two stroke engine. Reliability, economy, simplicity, competition, performance and tuning potential, ease of maintenance - the reasons are many and varied. There has always been an awareness that many of our members use their machines on a regular basis as daily transport and the club has always endeavoured to keep the annual subscription as low as possible.

The Organisation
The general affairs of the Club are managed by an elected committee with the AGM held at the Annual Rally which is usually on the first weekend in July. Most of the riding activities are organised by local sections around the country.

Club Runs and Events
Throughout the year many national and local Club runs are organised by the local Sections. In addition the Club has a stand at many of the national shows. Dates of all club events and other items of interest are published in the club magazine.

Technical Support
A major benefit of the Club is the access to technical expertise. As well as the experienced members in the Sections, there are also a number of marque specialists who can provide technical information in their own area of expertise. These cover numerous categories A to Z . The range includes many of the more well known British marques and some others. Most of our members own lightweight motorcycles of the 1950's and 60's and the majority of these use Villiers engines and gearboxes. To assist in keeping them on the road we offer free technical advice to members whenever we are able to do so. Members can also ask for advice from others via a letter in the club magazine.
